Matt Luke is currently in his second year as the Running Game Coordinator and the Offensive Line Coach at Duke University, alongside Jim Knowles. Coach Matt Luke is a native of Gulfport, Mississippi and lettered all four years as a center at Ole Miss.
Coach Matt Luke has mentored numerous successful players, such as offensive tackle Cameron Goldberg. Following the 2008 season, Goldberg signed a free agent contract with the NFL’s Kansas City Chiefs. Matt Luke also had player Kyle Hill, at guard, named second team Freshman All-America by Sporting News.
Before accepting a position at Duke University, Coach Luke was a tight ends and offensive line coach at Tennessee during the 2006 and 2007 season. The Tennessee Volunteers, with Luke’s help, had a 19-8 overall record, one SEC Eastern Division championship and went twice to the Outback Bowl. Matt Luke has also had the privilege to coach for his alma mater team, Ole Miss, from 2002 to 2005. Coach Luke coached his team to win two bowl games and the SEC Western Division Championships.
