Florida State Seminoles player #11

Florida State Seminoles football players call their home the Doak Campbell Stadium.  The Doak Campbell Stadium is named in honor of Florida State University's former president who approved and presided over the university as the stadium was constructed.

You can find the Doak Campbell Stadium on Champions Way in Tallahassee, Florida.  The construction cost to complete the stadium in 1950 was $250,000 and since its creation, the Doak Campbell Stadium has had a series of renovations and additions to make room for an expanding student body and fan section.  The field itself is named the Bobby Bowden Field after a beloved football coach.  A statue of Bobby Bowden was created in 2004 to grace the entrance to the stadium.

The Florida State Seminoles wear school colors of gold and garnet and their mascot is a Native American Seminole tribe member who can be found riding around the stadium on a horse.  As a member of the Atlantic Coast Conference, the Florida State Seminoles play most frequently against teams like the Miami Hurricanes and North Carolina State Wolfpack.
